Five Generationss
This forth generation was responsible for the modernization and expansion of Aveleda. Luis, known for his charisma, empathy and friendly personality, joined the company at the age of 23. With his work, the Aveleda brands conquered new markets and lovers. António Guedes, Luis’ brother, was passionate for viticulture. He designed the new vineyards of Aveleda, thought for a single variety and almost fully mechanized. Aveleda at this point owned 170 hectares of vineyards. Roberto Guedes joined the company in 1997, after a long experience in management. He changed the organization of the company to make it more efficient. These three brothers made Aveleda prosper, become stronger and more prepared for the new century and the generation that would come.
